This spring Gabe went out hunting for bear. To be honest, many of us joined him on his hikes through the woods around the valley in a search of a bear. One afternoon, I was informed that Gabe got his bear while I was working here at camp. So I quickly found a ride to where he was help him clean the bear.

Hiking Crew at Cascade Waterfall
During Explore, most of our time is taken up with program related details. Yet, we find that occasionally we are given a day or two with time to relax and rest. A small group of us spent many of our rest times hiking local areas and trails nearby Camp Bighorn in Montana. One Sunday afternoon in February we hiked a trail that led to a Cascade waterfall overlooking the Clark Fork River Valley. In fact, if you look at the picture of the valley very, very closely you might be able to find the spot where Camp Bighorn is located. We followed the waterfall down its steep return to the valley and had fun hanging out.
